Swimming is one of the most popular sports by many people. Swimming has an indispensable place in many people’s lives. There are many reasons for this; swimming is one of the most beneficial and developing sports. Of course, this is not just the benefits. It is a branch of sport that has many psychological and physical benefits. Swimming takes people away from their stress and bad thoughts, and turns them into a much happier and more relaxed individual.

Like adults, children love to swim. Of course, swimming has many benefits for children as well, perhaps even more than it does for adults.

Benefits of Swimming for Children:

During swimming, all the muscles of the body work. This ensures that children’s bodies are much more fit.

It makes children taller. Because while swimming, we try to push our muscles as far as possible.

It enables children to be fit and energetic. It provides support for their children who have concentration difficulties to be more careful.

Children who move and swim alone feel much more confident and much more independent. This is one of the great advantages for the future of children.

During swimming, the child can compete both with himself and with others, which develops and increases the child’s sense of competition.

Swimming ensures a healthy respiratory system and a healthy heart system. In this way, children have a healthy heart throughout their life.

Swimming Styles: Swimming does not contain much style compared to other sports, there are only four swimming styles.

1-Breaststroke: In this style, the arms and legs work at a very strong rate, so this style is more demanding and harder to learn than other styles. This style is slower than other styles. In order to do this, it is necessary to have strong arms and legs.

2- Free Swimming Style: This style is one of the most popular swimming styles. This style is the first style to be learned in swimming. After learning free swimming, other styles should be learned. The swimmer has to let himself go to the resistance of the water. The course is completed by using fathoms and foot strokes.

3-Backstroke: This style is one of the moderate speed styles, while the body is standing in parallel on the water, the arms are tapped backwards. During backward strokes, the body should turn slightly sideways. This allows you to be faster and navigate the water more comfortably.

4-Butterfly:It is not a recommended style for beginners. In this style, two arms move at the same time. All parts of the body move in harmony. Suitable for beginners, it is not suitable for use of muscle power, advanced swimmers are at the forefront.
