We have two branches in our Art Lessons that will improve the imagination of our children and increase their mental capacity and artistic aspects. One of them is Painting and the other is our Handcraft branch.
Painting
Painting is perhaps one of the only art forms that carry our imagination to reality to such an extent.
Over the years, the branch of painting, which has been reconstructing itself with the emergence of many movements, has enabled humanity to express itself as it has been since the most primitive periods.
As we know, man desires to tell and to be understood in return. Before language was born, people would draw on cave walls to express themselves. They needed to convey their rituals, happiness, sadness, briefly everything that happened in their lives, with their reflections on their inner world.
Maybe we start to dream when we are born, unconsciously. The imaginary world experienced at the highest level in childhood loses its effect as it grows day by day. There is a need to feed him in order not to lose his influence, but in the turmoil of life, what we forgot and threw to the second plan is our imagination.
That is why it is very important to start this most valuable form of art at an early age and grow up with it. No matter how much art is involved in childhood, it does not break in adulthood, and the gains obtained in that period appear as production in later times.
Today, as people of the post-modern world, we are far from imagining. The chaos of life makes us anxious. In this time when our awareness should be indispensable; In our Summer School that we have planned for our children, we want to create value for children, contribute to their imagination development and contribute to their being individuals whose imagination is not reduced.
As the Multicultural Sports School, we attach importance to art as much as we attach importance to sports. In painting, which is one of the most important branches we have planned in our summer school in order to develop the imagination of our children, we consider children’s mental development and hope to realize their processes of discovering their talents.
Hanf Craft
Our handicraft lessons, which are one of the most effective branches for developing fine motor skills of children, consist of various workshops. In our handcrafting lesson, which is one of the most entertaining lessons of our Summer School, offering our children colorful, productive worlds; We use materials that exist in our lives, but we looked at with the corner of our eye. We use the objects we are accustomed to in our standard lives for a different purpose than their function, and we create new products. For example, we produce many products such as puppets from socks, robots from straws, bags from thread.
The most noteworthy achievement of our handcrafted lessons for children is an awareness of sustainable life. It creates the idea of reassessing and transforming something else about many of the materials that children use in their daily lives and that they think of getting worn out and maybe bored and throwing them away.
As humanity, we live in a consumption-oriented world. This consumption-oriented lifestyle reduces the life of the world and makes it a much more useless place and we pollute it by forgetting that the world is our home. Our children also grow up adopting these lifestyles and become adults in this cycle. However, it is very important for the future to focus on the phenomenon of sustainability in the developmental stages of children and to teach them how to do this. The child who grows up with these facts continues to practice in his adult life and the approach he teaches his own child develops in this way.
We attach great importance to the handicraft branch for these reasons and for such an important gain that it will bring. Handicraft not only has great effects on the development of fine motor skills of children, gaining coordination and using their hands and fingers more actively, but also on the forward-looking and constructive development of their minds, as well as helping each other and making joint productions. Children experience a sense of togetherness in handcrafting lessons and enjoy the benefits of teamwork. These achievements also contribute to other branches of our Summer School where sports activities are predominant. As children become aware of teamwork, they become much more successful in branches that require team play.
The happiness created by creating a common product is also a very important resource in reinforcing positive emotions in children and spreading these positive emotions around them.
